The video (shared by Tracking Sharks) shows a huge bird carrying a fish what looks like a shark right from Myrtle Beach in South Carolina in the United States. The video, captured from a high-rise building also shows people completely surprised by the bird's swift move.
Birds of prey
While the video surely surprises us, it is not uncommon to see large birds as this one attack its prey in this fashion. Eagles, hawks, falcons all are known to spot their prey kilometres away and they swoop in right at the moment to catch them when the prey is the most vulnerable.
